INTERNATIONAL
COCKTAIL

Black Russian – € 9,00
(Vodka, Coffee Liqueur)
Created in 1949 during the Cold War, its name reflects that dark period in history. It was invented by Belgian bartender Gustave Tops in honor of U.S. ambassador Pearl Mesta during her official visit to Europe.

Bloody Mary – € 9,00
(Vodka, Tomato Juice, Spices, Lemon Juice, Worcestershire Sauce)
Inspired by the story of Mary Tudor, Queen of England, known as “Bloody Mary” for the violent persecutions associated with her reign. In the 1920s, French bartender Ferdinand Petiot created this cocktail in the United States, also drawing on the blood-red color of tomato juice.

Caipirinha – € 9,00
(Cachaça, Sugar, Lime)
A traditional Brazilian drink that helped make cachaça famous around the world. Its name comes from caipira, meaning “country person” or “farmer,” reflecting its humble rural origins.

Caipiroska – € 9,00
(Vodka, Sugar, Lime)
A variation of the Caipirinha, also known as “Caipivodka,” in which vodka replaces cachaça. It can also be prepared on request in flavored versions such as strawberry or passion fruit.

Cosmopolitan – € 9,00
(Vodka Citron, Triple Sec, Lime Juice, Cranberry Juice)
It originated within a gay community in Massachusetts under the name Stealth Martini. Its pink color gave it a feminine touch, and legend says cranberry juice was poured freely until the guest exclaimed, “What a beautiful pink!” Toby Cecchini later reworked the recipe by adding Cointreau.

Cuba Libre – € 9,00
(Cuban Rum, Coca-Cola)
The origins of this cocktail are somewhat uncertain. The most widely accepted theory is that it was born in Havana between 1900 and 1902, during the Spanish-American War and Cuba’s struggle for independence from Spain, supported by the United States.

Clover Club – € 9,00
(Raspberry Syrup, Gin, Fresh Lemon Juice, Egg White)
Created in early 20th-century Philadelphia, where writers, lawyers, and finance professionals gathered at the Bellevue-Stratford Hotel bar. It was listed among the American novelties of mixology in a famous 1908 manual, and in 1961 this captivating night-time drink entered the first IBA recipe book.

Daiquiri – € 9,00
(White Rum, Sugar Syrup, Fresh Lime Juice)
During the Spanish-American War in 1898, an American marine landed on a beach in Daiquiri, Cuba. Looking for something to quench his thirst, he entered a bar and, unwilling to drink straight rum, had it mixed with lime juice and sweetened with sugar, creating the first version of the Daiquiri.

Dark ‘n’ Stormy – € 9,00
(Dark Rum, Ginger Beer)
Considered the national drink of Bermuda. Its name literally means “dark and stormy.” Its origins are often linked to the British Royal Navy, which supplied its troops with a daily ration of rum and ginger beer.

Espresso Martini – € 9,00
(Vodka, Coffee Liqueur, Espresso, Sugar Syrup)
According to the most widely accepted story, the cocktail was invented by Dick Bradsell in the 1980s while working at Fred’s Club in London. In an interview, Bradsell said he first made it for a guest who asked for something that would “wake me up and then mess me up.”

Gin Fizz – € 9,00
(Gin, Sugar Syrup, Lemon Juice, Soda)
Its origins date back to the 18th century. Admiral Nelson is said to have advised his sailors to consume vitamin C from lemon juice preserved in gin to prevent scurvy. Once discharged, the sailors adapted the drink and added soda.

Godfather – € 9,00
(Scotch Whisky, Amaretto)
This cocktail is tied to legends surrounding the Italian-American mafia in the United States. One theory suggests it is a tribute to Marlon Brando, who loved the drink and starred in The Godfather. Another links it to famous Italian-American gangsters such as Al Capone and Jackie D’Amico, who frequented the nightclubs of the time.

Godmother – € 9,00
(Vodka, Amaretto)
A softer reinterpretation of the Godfather. The use of vodka makes it smoother and more delicate, traditionally considered more suited to a female audience. For this reason, the cocktail was dedicated to the “women of honor,” the wives of mafia bosses who managed family affairs in their husbands’ absence.

Long Island – € 9,00
(Vodka, Triple Sec, Rum, Gin, Lime, Coca Cola)
Especially popular during the grunge era in 1990s America, when teenagers at parties used its innocent iced tea appearance to get around the legal drinking age. The same principle made it useful in the speakeasies of the 1920s.

Jhon Collins – € 9,00
(London Dry Gin, Sugar Syrup, Lemon Juice, Soda)
Many believe it was named after the maître of Limmer’s Old House, John Collins. It is very similar to the Gin Fizz; the difference is that the Gin Fizz is shaken, while this one is built directly in the glass. There is also a version made with Old Tom Gin called the Tom Collins.

Mai Tai – € 9,00
(White Rum, Dark Rum, Orange Curaçao, Orgeat Syrup, Lime Juice)
The name of this drink perfectly reflects its reputation: in Tahitian, it means “the best.” Its authorship is disputed between tiki pioneer Don Beach and his business rival Trader Vic, who is said to have served it to two Tahitian friends who exclaimed, “Mai Tai!” after tasting it.

(Rye Whiskey, Sweet Vermouth, Angostura Bitters)

(Tequila Silver, Triple Sec, Lemon Juice, Salt Rim)
A cocktail symbolic of Mexico. According to one story, it originated thanks to Marjorie King, whose name in Spanish becomes Margarita.

Mojito – € 9,00
(Lime Juice, Cane Sugar, White Rum, Soda Water, Mint)
Its origins are often linked to Sir Francis Drake, the corsair of Queen Elizabeth I and one of the first men to circumnavigate the globe. Around 1586, corsairs are said to have consumed an early version of this drink for courage and because its ingredients were easy to find and helpful to their health.

Moscow Mule – € 9,00
(Lime Juice, Vodka, Ginger Beer)
It was born in the 1940s from the meeting of two struggling businessmen: John G. Martin, distributor of Smirnoff vodka in the United States, and Jack Morgan, owner of a well-known Hollywood pub where his line of ginger beer was not selling. Together they created a legendary drink that “kicked like a mule”.

Old Fashioned – € 9,00
(Rye Overproof Whisky, Angostura Bitters, Sugar Cube)
One of the earliest cocktails of the mixed-drink era. Its roots are often traced back to 1806, when The Balance and Columbian Repository defined the word “cocktail” as a stimulating alcoholic beverage composed of spirits, sugar, water, and bitters.

Paloma – € 9,00
(Tequila, Lime Juice, Grapefruit Soda, Salt Rim)
Probably invented by Don Javier Delgado Corona, owner and bartender of the famous La Capilla bar in Tequila, Jalisco, Mexico. Fruity and refreshing, it is an excellent alternative to the Moscow Mule.

Piña Colada – € 9,00
(White Rum, Pineapple Juice, Coconut Cream)
It is said to have been created in the form we know today in Puerto Rico, where a marble plaque still commemorates the place where Don Ramón Portas supposedly created this immortal cocktail in 1963.

Screwdriver – € 9,00
(Vodka, Fresh Orange Juice)
Decades ago, American oil workers in the Persian Gulf discreetly added vodka to their orange juice while on the job. With no spoon available, they stirred the drink with a screwdriver—hence the name.

Sex On The Beach – € 9,00
(Vodka, Peach Liqueur, Cranberry Juice, Orange Juice)
Born in the 1970s, when calling a drink “Sex on the Beach” was considered too bold. Its first name was Peach on the Beach, due to the peach liqueur. Only in 1987 did bartender Ted Pizio rename it Sex on the Beach.

Tequila Sunrise – € 9,00
(Tequila Silver, Fresh Orange Juice, Grenadine)
Its name comes from the resemblance between its colors and the shades of a sunrise, created by the way the ingredients blend in a highball glass. It is said that famous bartender Gene Sulit created it at the Arizona Biltmore Hotel in Phoenix in the 1930s or 1940s.

Whiskey Sour – € 9,00
(Bourbon Whisky, Lemon Juice, Sugar Syrup)
In 1872, the Englishman Elliott Stubb landed in the port of Iquique, Chile, opened a beach bar, and while experimenting with aperitifs, mixed local limón de Pica with whisky and sugar. The result was a meeting point between Anglo-Saxon taste and South American citrus tradition.

White Russian – € 9,00
(Vodka, Coffee Liqueur, Cream)
A variation of the Black Russian, its name refers to the White Russians who opposed the Bolshevik Red revolutionaries. It later gained pop-culture fame thanks to films such as The Big Lebowski.
